The first sports diving watch of Montblanc, the Montblanc 1858 Iced Sea Automatic Date, presents a dial with a "glacier" motif which gives the impression of looking in the depths of a glacier. This green dial with "glacier" motif is inspired by the Mer de Glace (sea of ​​ice), the main glacier of the Mont Blanc massif. His texture was obtained using an almost forgotten ancestral technique called Gratté-Boisé. The timepiece has a unidirectional bezel in two -tone ceramic, an engraved back and a interchangeable black rubber strap with refined adjustments.
